OK,newbie here,Hello to all you on here needing some much needed help with my 2007 VIP future champion scooter.I am a gear head so as I drag race my race car as a hobby. I had the power-washer out and figured "why not wash the scooter"/So I did and now 5 days later it wont start, nor has any spark?I did get a new "Racing CDI and Coil"deal, and when I crank it over the led does flicker with the turn of the engine via the starter.BUT NO SPARK?Changed out 3 different coils,2 different plugs, and still I have got no spark at the plug? Can anyone know what else to check or replace?Or to check with my Volt meter>>? OK, Thanks, now the big question is how and what color wires do I use to do this and what kind of reading should I have on what setting on my meter?,I know that there is a "plastic" cooling fin in there and a nut on it,is that nut regular or reverse threads?I will use a impact as it was very easy to get the other side off when I changed the belt. Thanks for your time and help. Jason
UPDATE: After deciding that I was going to have to take the magneto/stator out,I said what the heck,so I took some Carb and Choke cleaner with the scooter shut off and there were like two 3/8" holes on the round metal housing that triggers the electronic ignition and I just BLASTED THE HECK OUT OF THE INSIDE OF THE MAGNETO WITH IT AND MOVED IT UNTIL I HAD MADE A COMPLETE 360* ROTATION,Then I had a Painters air/blow gun(FYI they are very tiny at the end and produce a fine line and very powerful blast of air for a blow gun,and used it as I did the cleaner and I couldn't believe it ,the thing had a nice bright spark and I just knew it was going to run.=IT DID STARTED JUST FINE AND HAS SINCE .So before jumping to spending more money you may want to try what I did as the results to date are fine and no issues. Thanks to all who helped me out and this site. Kind Regards, Jason
