I'm having issues with my kick start i have a motor off a 2005 tank 150de that i bought off craigslist and the guy removed all the kick-start assembly. all i had, was the electric start. now, my slipper clutch is going bad.!! i went and bought all the kick-start assembly. bushings, washers, spacers excetra...now i cannot get the half moon spindle to line up in the swing arm. all the half moon gears i can find on the net have the same dimensions. I wanted to know if anyone knows if there are two different sized half- moon gears? It acts like it is too big. Can anyone please help??? Here is a picture of my (half-moon) gear. Thanks!!

there is a weld mark on the h moon, many diagrames have it above the catch point, keep it below the catch point.
it may well not be too big, just tricky to get in, careful with flying springs, one extra hand can be helpful from friend standing above bike.
with bigger head installs compression goes up, make sure you have a very good battery
remember i said some of the kick start diagrames are wrong, keep weld below catch mark.
you need to post CVT internals here, then get rebel to comment.

You may have been looking at a manual for a 50cc GY6 scooter, there are a lot of 50cc - 150cc GY6 manuals out there, this one is dedicated to the 150. Check out the page in this manual that start at page 27. The counter on my PDF viewer called it page 31, covers about three pages. www.familygokarts.com/manuals/ace/arrow150_engine_service_manual.pdfPersonally I think you would be ahead of the game if you replaced the starter clutch if that was what went out. These kick starts are not know for their durability.

thank you for all your help so far page 27 is just what i needed and i fallow the instructions but no luck so here is what I'm working with in the pic you can see the moon gear is hitting the gear on the crank shaft and hitting the swing arm where the kicker shaft go's it's like the gear is to big or something i look at pic's on the net and the gear fit's right in and this i don't under stand

Strange, does it look like the previous owner may have drilled out that hole on the right? Does the kick start shaft fit that hole? Looks like th bushing is not in there, how much of the hole would be filled with the bushing.

that looks a lot more correct than the other photo you posted, might have been the angle. Here are a couple pictures from page 28/32 of that manual Attachments:

I think you need to just assemble it and see how it lines up, Seeing your new photos it looks OK to me.
