Well I just cant stop myself from getting these junked scooters. I went Friday and picked up a black and purple 87 se50 elite and a pink 89 sb50p elite e for 50 bucks and the winchester 12ga I got when i sold/traded the jonway robot yy50qt my sister immediately claimed the sb50p as soon as it hit the ground and tore it done so i could clean tank and carb. Got it running same day Got the 87 se50 running the next morning with a tank and carb clean the other red 87 still has some kinks with the motor sooooo I had an af16 elite engine I needed to put new bearings and seals in so I got that done and swapped it into the purple se50 so i could put that motor into the red one 2 birds with one stone now both hit about 40mph. all I have done cosmetically is scrub everything clean and heatgunned the ABS. The motor swap is basically bolt on more pics to come Attachments:

Wow I had one just like it when I was a teen and it would zoom . Well mine was a Spree black and light purple like in the picture . I had an all black Elite that was stock but sold it since the Spree was way faster . I only changed the tires out and never once had an issue . I have only gotten love from all of my Honda motorcycles and cars with one being totaled twice and I still drove it .
All of my 49cc street toys have been 2t mostly old pedal mopeds and the 2 Hondas . So with that experience to go on I hated my old TaoTao ATMa 50 I had since it was nothing like the Hondas . A 2T can coast where a 4T has tranny drag . The TaoTao which should be renamed " POS " cracked a piston the 2nd day and blew up 6 weeks later . I went with a 50mm Air Sal BBK and it never had any problems .
Yesterday I met a guy who has an Elite and he let me ride it . Wow it had instant takeoff like a forklift does but quickly dropped off the power curve at 25 where my Jonway Magnum has more power and can easily out run it .
The only bad thing I can say about the Hondas is drum brakes instead of discs which I prefer . Genuine Honda parts cost a fortune so I hope the China or the better Tawainese parts may work if needed .
The Spree was the very first scooter I ever rode and I bought it a few months later from a neighbor . I was used to motorcycles and mountain bikes with the small tires and quick responsiveness it was almost like driving drunk as it was not the same as a motorcycle with larger wheels and wheel base .
I hope you have as much enjoyment with your Hondas as I have

God I hate mean people
there are few things wrong any where in this world that not attached to mean people
but man when i see a good bike collect dust because some lazy person won't learn how to attach a vac line, and it is clear to me they have the brains to learn it
I grab the bike, and i start bidding at 50 bucks.
tho some weeks ago i fixed a bike for 3 days cause the kid was just too young to get it all her self
great looking bike you got Mystic
at a great price

Thanks I love my Honda 2ts. I would rather ride a Spree than any chinese 4stroke 50 any day of the week. In some cases I would rather walk While the Spree is kewl, it lacks power and has little to no aftermarket options. tazland001 or chopchop001 on ebay sells bore kits and carb kit for the spree as well as gears but without a variator it will never go more than 40mph. i have had 2 Spree that I sold the motors out of and swapped in 94-01 elite af16 engines. The se50 motor did about 40mph stock but I still swapped in an af16 a few days ago since it was sooo easy basically bolt on. Still got some cosmetic work to do but when I am done it is gonna be sharp. I have 6 Hondas now ( 2 Spree with af16, 94 sa50 elite S, 2 87 Elite SE50, and an 89 Elite E sb50p)
