Got a new voltage regulator in... I ordered one for a 150cc.. It's the exact same as the one that was on my 50cc scoot to begin with! The only way I can see this making a difference.. is perhaps the other one got damaged during the engine swap, like from welding er sumpin..

Probably a wiring problem then. Just a guess.

Ended up ordering a stator from a 150cc model Wildfire to match my wiring system...
...but now a new problem. I had my carb tuned up previously with a "Colortune" kit I have and was running good before. I went to drain the carb, and apparently I turned the fuel ratio screw instead of the bowl drain screw! lol
How many turns out should I start with? 2? If I pour a little gas into the carb, it'll start.. but unless I get on the throttle, it'll die. Won't idle.
The needle valve isn't stuck, so it's getting fuel to the bowl.. idle jet clogged from sitting possibly?

Start with three turns out.
