Ok so I want to check my oil in my CF Motto E-Charm 150cc liquid cooled 4 stroke motor. I checked the owners manual & it's vague in if I should screw the dip stick back in after wiping it or just set it in to get an accurate reading. I've read online that it can vary by different scooters. What seems to be the best bet? I screw the cap down on lawn mower but just want to get a 2nd opinion ya know.

I've seen it posted both way. I suggest that you drain it then put the amount of oil you need according the manual. ten check it on the dip stick.

Right on that makes sense. I don't need an oil change yet just wanted to check the fluids after putting on little over 200 miles. Probably check it both ways before putting away in shed before bed today. That way I can see if one way seems to make sense over the other & then just do what you said when I change the oil. Thanks for the help Rebel

So seems that you don't screw the dipstick back in........lol that or it has too much oil in it. But dealer seemed to be straight & think they know how to add proper amount of oil. Plus the chinglesh instructions make it sound like that's how you check it.

Definately don't want to put too much...you will see it blow out into your air box.
