Just going on a lot of advise. You probably have a draw while the bike is off. It is draining while you are away. A Scooter, bike etc stator is usually used to supply power for the systems while running and ONLY to Maintain a battery. The battery is probably good, the stator runs it. You have to find the draw...corrotions a b****

A lot of the Chinese scooters come with an alarm system that does indeed drain the battery if it is sitting parked long enough. Otherwise it should be able to sit a couple weeks and still start up if the battery is in good shape.

Hello Rebels, here the charger I use. www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-XM1-5-Maintainer-1.5-Amp/15140193?findingMethod=rrits done a great job for me, plus its only 20 bucks. also I would go ahead a check those connections anyway, call it preventative maintenance. while your at it put some die-electric grease up in the ones where applicable, keeps moisture out and also creates a good connection. this summer im going to start making some how-to videos working on the scooter, including a good PDI video and and good preventative maintenance inspection video.

Otherwise it should be able to sit a couple weeks and still start up if the battery is in good shape. this draw thing is interesting as my audiovox $12.00 alarm marked down from 90.00 in a fire sale has a sensor that sets it off if there is any drop in voltage.
If i soak the bike in rain it goes off after 20 minutes of setting.
no rain no alarm warning.
this has become so often the norm, i don't use alarm for 35 minutes after shut off after rain driving, then i turn it on and it does not complain.totally un related to this i have posted a 100 year old advertisment for fairy soap.
Why you try to fiqure out just what the hell i am doing and want to smack me, you may also note what ever was bothering you before you came to scooter rebel, is no longer on your mind.
it worked. In the future remember where to come when you are bumed out.ALSO, if you click the picture you will find "our scooter Daisy" in left hand corner before she had not yet decided to become a scooter chick
