I recently bought one of the shorty exhausts off eBay, well needless to say it doesn't fit. Header pipe isn't even close without major modifications. I had the new header pipe on, but with the muffler there is no way it would clear the rear shock absorber. What to do, what to do? I brainstormed about it for a while, which ain't easy for me. Decided to reuse my original header pipe, which was still good, but not as purty as the new chrome one. The original is out further away from the shock with the muffler on, so I will go this route. Now I just need to make a mount for the muffler, so I can use the band that came with it. What really surprised me was the muffler had 6 mounting bolts, and my original flange only had 3, but by George it lined right up like it was made for it. I'm a happy camper now. ;D

It would work on those scooters with a single rear shock, but not with doubles. I did get a hanger made for it today. I bought a 12" length of 8mm all thread, 4 nuts, and 4 lock washers. I had to make a slight upward bend in the all thread to line up the holes on the muffler band. Worked like a champ. ;D
