your brake light is the second brightest light on most bikes so it draws more juice.

justbuggin, you need a LED tail light, they are pretty cheap and easy to install. Just swap out the old bulb for a new LED one. BTW, I have found an issue with my kit which I thought I'd share: The injector control cable can work itself loose from the injector, it seems the lock on the connector is not sturdy enough for the vibrations of a GY6 engine. I ended up stranded about a mile or so from home, scooter completely dead (would not fire) because of this. One minute I was riding and thinking "Hey, with the new 9g weights I may just have hit the spot". The next thing it splutters twice and dies... And of course I live on top of a pretty big hill, and had just made my way all the way down. Anyway, make sure you secure the connector with an extra zip tie or two against the injector.

Interesting, I haven't had that issue with the FI connector. The socket on mine is actually pretty snug and takes a screwdriver to pop the lock on it.

I think the connector can move despite the lock. Looking at mine when it had issues it was impossible to tell something was wrong, but when I pushed the connector in it moved 2-3mm. All locking clips and everything was in place.

if you cant plug into where the petcock was maybe you will get lucky and ahve a petcock you can gut and put back in thats what i did with my zuma
i also used the fuel tank vent for my return line but i also drilled a very tiny hole in the gas cap to allow the tank to vent thru that (i think i use a 1/32 drill bit)

na the tank has a line running to the petcock and there is a second line that runs form the petcock back to the top of the tank
