You would think they could hold up to gas, even with ethanol.

Keep us informed about your 150 conversion, you'll be the first one here to take it on. Think the charging aystem will have trouble keeping up?

It will be the first 150 I know of that has done the conversion. I do know that Matt at Ecotrons has been selling bunches of them. I just never hear about them.

And in case people are wondering, my scooter is STILL a daily rider and I have had no issues. I could tweak the really cold start (under 50) to use a bit less fuel but I'm too lazy to break out my notebook computer. So far it starts fine, always within 5 seconds, except when I tried to start it after it sat for 1 month. The battery was low because I didn't plug it into the battery tender.

I saw someone over at Totalruckus posting they had begun a GY6 EFI conversion using the Ecotrons kit, but no details. So people are installing them for sure, it's just that so few of them seems to be posting on the scooter boards... Or maybe they all go into buggys? I know I have a friend who is seriously considering the larger Ecotrons kit for his old Yamaha XS 400. Hope he goes thru with it.
I don't expect to be able to post any mpg or performance figures for my converted scooter for some time, the weather is too cold to ride in and will most likely remain so for at least a month and a half.

Did you get the C3 up and going?

Yep, the C3 is back up and running with correct charging voltage. I am not completely certain I had a busted regulator or not, but I replaced it anyway. I ended up disconnecting all wire connections, sprayed them with some stuff supposed to remove oxide, then sprayed them with Vaseline grease and put them back together.
Funny thing I found out was that the frame is not grounded on the C3. The engine is, but there is no metal connection between it and the frame, its all bushings everywhere. I tried asking both on the C3 Facebook page and the C3 forum if this was correct but got no answers... I was worried something had come loose and this had caused the electrical issues. Not so apparently, there was no loose connections to be found and the charging voltage is now correct.
