i bought some bunji straps, drilled a few holes around the top of the trailer and put the hooks in them. we go shopping with the rucks, i can get 4-5 bags of groceries in the trailer and pull it at 36 mph with no problems. i've had cops behind me and that wasn't a problem either. no lights of any kind but the rucks tail light and blinkers that are very visible from the rear. i did put some reflective all around on the trailer tho. Nice Bagga! The hitch attachement on yours looks similar to the one I have, with a large spring in it to allow movement.

it will allow twisting in all directions. that is a standard feature on bicycle trailers. i didn't want to only allow for the spring to do all the movement that's why i went with a pin so the trailer would move with the pin and not just the spring. it took me several days to get the hitch how i thought it would work best for me.

this is a pic of the lower part of the hitch where the tongue of the trailer is attached. it's like a farm tractor to hay wagon hitch. Attachments:
