the stator is under the fan and fly wheel you need a fly wheel puller to remove it
but there are a few other things to make sure are working right before messing with the stator those normaly dont fail
find a service manual and there will be specs in there for test the coil and stator (i have had good luck testing without removing them) then there is also your cdi and your kill switch (kill switchs are know to fail on just about every modle out there)

Welcome,
I do not know for sure, but I think the Kymco 50cc is a 139qmb motor. If it is you could use one of the manuals I have posted here, look in my sig line for a link to them.
The most common thing to go out is the CDI, I'd change that before the stator.

Oh, the "triggering coil" is what we are calling a stator

well the trigger coil is only one coil on the stator assembly that coil makes all the juice for the cdi and coil

If it is a charging problem you should be able to put a charger on the battery and charge it up and it will start and run. If you can't start it after charging, you have another problem. If it is doing nothing, check the fuse that comes off the battery cable(red one), check for loose wires.

wont work that way rebel sure its part of the charging system but that one coil is indipendent of the rest
but as i think about it kymco is completely diffrent then just about every one else they dont use the same trigger coil as every one else
i seem to remeber that when i saw the floating a stator youtube on kymcos

what kind of kymco is it. If it is the people 2 stroke the cdi should be located under the seat bucket. that is where mine was at one point . you also might check the ignition coil.
