Today on the way to work I was behind a guy riding a Harley. A ground squirrel took him on and lost, ran right out onto the road and under the tires of the motorcycle.
Needless to say, it will become a grease spot on the road.
Anybody here ever run over something while riding two wheels?

i ran over a dead piss cat once. i didn't see it as i entered the 4 lane. the garage kind of stunk for awhile. what's a piss cat? ? i ran over a complete seat that blew out of a pontoon boat once too. the car in front of me swerved at the last second to miss it and i didn't see it until the car was in the other lane. hit it straight on at about 55 mph.

I was going down the freeway in the Los Angeles area once years back, was trapped in a lane with cars all around me and had to drive over a mattress, glad it wasn't a "foundation"
Riding down a canal bank when I was a kid, I ran over a log because it snuck up on me when I wasn't looking.
I was wondering about road kill though.

I just killed a turtle the other week. It was dark and I never saw it till I was right on it at 50MPH. I didn't know what I hit till I saw it there the next day. Felt like I hit a 4x4 or something but sounded like I just crumpled plastic. Mostly dead animals otherwise. I ran over a bunny years ago that darted out of the grass and I couldn't avoid it. I hate hitting animals, for their sake more than my own. Almost got hit in the face by a duck a little while ago...

Ouch, a duck in the face might be deadly.
I live where there are a lot of rattlesnakes. Might be a bit scary to come up on one of those and have it strike out at you.

With my luck I'd wreck avoiding a rattler and it would slither over and get me when I was down.

This critter had been run over in the park. I didn't think we had Armadillos in Kentucky ? Attachments:
