I've been considering the H3 LED lights. My thought is that they won't be good for a headlight, because others have said their LEDs just don't project. They are supposed to be bright to look at, but not put much light on the road. I was just hoping maybe they'd be a good DRL that's easily seen and doesn't use much power.

I got the H3 LED. Had to cut up my housing to install it because the bulb is larger. Looks fairly bright, good enough to use as a daytime light so there's hardly any draw. Projects next to no light. Worthless for night riding, other than to be seen. I took a 9 mile ride and by the time I was home the LED bulb had came apart in multiple pieces. Total junk.
