I really feel for you guy's back there....here it stays around 85 degrees year round, if we do get a cold snap its usually no more than 77 degrees. Sometimes I think I miss all the cold and snow. then I wake up and say wow! that was scary... Here's to hopeing ya'll get some good riding weather soon.

Besides needing to open the garage and do some work on my motorcycle, I have to do the maintenance on the scooter. If it was always above 40 here, I'd ride continuously. The frosty roads are what I'm most skittish about, but wet and rain, no so much. I have gear, - of course I'd rather ride home and get wet than to ride to work wet and be wet all day.
If it was 65+ always, I'd ride everyday for sure, wet or not - especially with the skyrocketing fuel prices.

"If it was 65+ always, I'd ride everyday for sure, wet or not - especially with the skyrocketing fuel prices" I hear you on that one....we only have two seasons here, raining and not raining, and with gas prices fast approaching $5.00 a gallon, I don't mind a little rain.

We have pleanty of salt and sand.....but the freezeing fog....you can keep it! With all the salt air form living on an Island, I give my scooter a bath at least once a week, if not the rust takes over.

Hit a deer once...or he hit me, still not sure. But I put it on the list of things I dont want to do again. (was in a truck, not scooter)
