i had this annoying bog at wide open throttle downhill could never get rid of it finaly fixed it today would you belive i was running too rich on the main with a k&n filter and performance exaust, i was running a 107 main ....... lol too rich on a 107 who would have thought now im back to hittin around 60 mph on the flat now that i got it runnin right its about time for the cam and 59mm jug , new rollers, springs and a vapor , oh yea and some new rear gears , i already out accelerate the cagers downhill so its time to dust them uphill too hehehehehe ;D

Sounds like a plan, you might want to make one change at a time, that way you don't have to trouble shoot as many things to figure out what is causing a problem if you have one.

lol that makes sense but my time is so limited i just throw a bunch of crap at it all at once and spend the rest of the week cussin it and maself but truthfully when my bank account and wife permit im gonna get with kliff since he knows these lil ten inchers well and and make a shopping list and when i get all i need ill take a day and put it all together and photo document it with links to the parts before and after specs and all that jazz

lol that makes sense but my time is so limited i just throw a bunch of crap at it all at once and spend the rest of the week cussin it and maself but truthfully when my bank account and wife permit im gonna get with kliff since he knows these lil ten inchers well and and make a shopping list and when i get all i need ill take a day and put it all together and photo document it with links to the parts before and after specs and all that jazz I think your plan up there sounds good, I understand an A-10 cam, a 59mm big bore kit, uni filter, and a jet in the carb will make a world of difference. Free up the exhaust a little.

that too rich with a 107 was with a free exaust and a k&n style filter thats why i kept telling myself no way this things rich lol

did some reasearch the average of five points on the map of my commute in elevation 1255 feet above sea level + /- apprx 200 feet so maybe that is why i have to jet lower than most people ... or my scoot just prefers to be on the thin side i dunno lol

did some reasearch the average of five points on the map of my commute in elevation 1255 feet above sea level + /- apprx 200 feet so maybe that is why i have to jet lower than most people ... or my scoot just prefers to be on the thin side i dunno lol Scooter preference. 1255 feet vs sea level only makes the same difference in air density as changing the temperature for 60F to 85F.

Free up the exhaust a little. Running rich on a 107, interesting. What carb? Flat or CVK? I was running a 130 in my cvk with a stock motor, P&P exhaust and mrp open filter and never had any problems. I am literally at see level though. I am running the kit that Rebel talked about. It made a huge difference. Last weeks ride with the big boy toys, I was told that I almost hit 80mph. I thought to myself "oh s@*t, I better slow down" but I played it off like yea, I told you a scooter is faster than it looks, LOL. So what carb are you running?

standard kf chinese carb that comes with them, then replaced it with a premium genuine keihn (sp) carb of thge same vareity lol my poor scoot was built on a friday i think , it has always had unique problems lol
