OK so tonight on my way home I noticed that my rps were through the roof 10k @ 30mph and when I use my turn blinkers my headlights blink as well. first think In my mind is a short somewhere but today on my way to work my rpms stayed at 6k @ 30mps and the lights did not blink wile using turn blinks. The weather tonight was much cooler then earlier and no rain 39degrees now and in the mid 40s before. Any Ideas as to what could be causing this be for I start hunting through wires. also here is a updated pic of my 50$ scoot I am not finished with the paint and the 2nd whitewall will be on soon rear bolt is being pesky. Thanx for all of the past help as well as future help Wolf Read more: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=discussion&action=display&thread=36664#ixzz1FtDlmHj9

When the tach rev'd high, did it sound like it was running high?
I'm wondering of it is an electrical issue.

As to the Tire question yes they are I got them from CHAPARRAL MOTORSPORTS they had a very good price and shipping was fast they ride good as well so far.
As for the tach reading high the sound was normal did not sound as if it was running high that is I guess what has me stumped will me going for a ride in a few to see if it happens again

Well with no rain and dry cold weather the wacky problem still seems to be there as well as my light getting brighter and dimmer as I rev. I will be tracing wires looking for shorts as well as swapping my voltage reg with one of my back ups to see what pans out I would like to solve this riddle be4 I install my bbk
