we do alot of performance stuff with the 250's. we have two cam grinds that have worked well. they can make alot of power, add a good adjustable cdi and coil to go with the other mods.
we have found with the head and cam mods you can go with a little heavier roller

its really good!it changed everything, the idle, the power, the sound, its not well tuned and i see 12 mph more, and its only in short trips, before it was 72 mph top speed and i have to make a top speed test after i change the variator to a bigger one ,because its revving up when its at high speed, just a tune up here and there ,maybe one or two weeks, its going to be fully tuned, the carb has a 200 main jet, and i think i have to change it

i have to remove the head to mod the ex valve guide because the valve seal is having conflicts with the retainer and its smoking a little bit so i can take pictures

thats what we found when we first started with the cams. we have a small grind that does not interfear with the guides or the seals. I would recomend doing both guides. do you have performance valve springs as well?
