After the break in yesterday, I did the same thing today. I did the same as yesterday to just be cautious. I decided to jump my 150 on the freeway. HOLLY SHYT! I was passing cagers! Granted I did the sport bike tuck. On the China speedo I was doing 75, I had more throttle to go! I chickened out when I saw a sea of brake lights. I DO NOT trust my brakes at that speed because it was not meant to go that fast anyway. Kliff, are you trying to kill us? LOL! Don't sell to noobs, HeHe. Anyway, I am confident that I could have far exceeded 75, I did get over 75 but backed off. On the interstate it can be freaky on a scoot I found at that speed. Also, I have to sit up and expose my upper body to slow down. Kinda like a human parachute. I am running the 59.9 kit with an A10 cam. HOLLY SHYT! WOW! The low end is not to spectacular, I am going to go back to a 2000 on the catra. I have done 200 all the way around befor on a stock motor but gas sucked arse. Now the gas mialage has changed anyway. I'm ganna try the MRP clutch with 1500 springs and run the 2000 Contra. Gatta tear them up on the streets too. ;D Any does or donts Kliff or anybody? OH! Sunshine just picked me up a 30mm carb. Cant wait to get that. She always looking out for me as I her!

Now whatcha need are some gears!
PLEASE someone get some 14/37 NCY gears in.....PLEEEEEEZE!
Then you'll get some of your mileage back, pick up a little more top end speed(LMAO!), and not be working the engine as hard at the 60-65mph range due to the lower revs.
The 14/37(2.64:1 ratio) is a number I picked outta the hat. Not a lot of rhyme or reason to it, other than working with 59mm engines, I didn't want to go to high. 2.5:1 > 2:1, and al the variants in those ranges, will probably be better suited to larger, 61>63mm engines, that will have the hp to make use of them. OEM, we have a 3.08:1 ratio, I really beleive a "pure stocker," or something real close, like my silver scootin, could benefit from something in the 2.8:1 range, and a cammed 59mm should love something in the 2.6's. These numbers are all still theory, but I'm gonna shake some of them down, soon as possible. MaddMaxx already has 14/37 gears installed, and those are the gears I'm gonna do all 59mm experimentation with.
Sounds like you're experiencing the results I'm hoping for, and you haven't installed the carb yet....yeah buddy!

That's good to hear i got the same feeling with my 63mm BB kit. What size rollers are you using? I feel that the 13g sliders work the best for me at least.

I am running 11g sliders myself. I am going back to the 2000 rpm main spring but gas sucks already with a 1500. Kliff, when you ganna find the time to try some gears out? I'll buy some from you. Believe me people, I am not lying about my 59.9 kit. I have heard bad and good things about the bigger kits but I am happy with the 59.9. No need to split the case or anything. Also, keep in mind that if you go to fast you need tires that are rated for that speed, weight and rim size. If they blow because they are under rated, you might die, killed, kinda thing. I am SOOOOOOO happy with the 59.9 kit! Smoking fast now. I gained about 10 -12 MPH from it. Before I could keep up with my buddies 400cc Burg, Now I think I need some butter because he is toast! ;D

LOL, don't forget to put jam on the toast too.
therustyaxe, you got my number, if you want to borrow my GPS to clock that beast just give me a call and address, I'll drop it in the mail for you to do a test run for speed. Or to check out the accuracy of the Chinomometer.

hey Paul, what kit did you buy? Did it require machining? How many beers would it cost me for you to install one on my il bello j/k Now you just need a new carb right, then your throttle response will match your engine power!
