Since Fly has shut down parts are hard to come by. Fly does not answer the phone or e-mails and their web site is down. I have been sourcing parts for back-up just in case. The one part I cannot locate in the states is a rectifier regulator. I found one in England. The scout rectifier has 5 wires. 4 of them go to a white connector. they are green, yellow, pink and red. the fifth wire is red and white. It goes to a single connector and powers the lights. Any ideas...

im not to familure with your scoot but is it an ac/dc set up or a full dc set up
if its ac/dc i would float the ground in the stator and get a trail tech full dc set up you may have to rewire or by pass a few things but the guys that have done it on the stella end up with lights that dont dim at idel and can run more lights

My rectifier works now. I was just looking for a back-up and discovered there were none available. My lights are dim and flicker at idle. They do get bright when the engine revs up. Thanks

You might contact this ebay seller and ask if they have arts for them, or just see genuine Honda parts work for the cub, trail 90. Quote from EBay ad. "Warning: Most online sellers cannot provide parts for their customers because they do not carry a parts inventory. We are a direct importer of parts for all Chinese Powersports and we sell parts 7 days a week so we will always be available to assist you. We help people everyday who call and say that their online seller cannot provide parts for them so please consider us before purchasing somewhere else because sometime you will need parts. ( see our pictures ) WE HAVE 1000'S OF PARTS IN STOCK" EBAY sellerPerhaps the wildfire 125cc that uses a similar motor has a rectifier that will work. WildfireLast suggestion for parts would be the 50cc like KZ has HERE

Glad to help.
That little bike should be a good around town ride for you.

Yeah, its great around town, and a lot of fun to ride. I have had it up to 50 MPH. It will go a little faster. I will find out this summer.

Well, you know it is a copy of the Honda Cub. I owned several Honda 90cc and 110cc street and trail bikes, universally they all had a top end of about 50-55 mph after a tune up, one a level ground. Made no difference if it was the 90 or the 110. The newer ones that had the electronic ignition did get the top end of that speed.

Well the rectifier they sent me is the wrong one so back to the drawing board. That was the place who sells what they call the Cub master.
I did call FX motorsports owned by Rich (Big Guy). The person I talked to said they probably had one to send them a picture of it and they would get back to me. I sent the picture and waited a couple of hours and called them to see if they got the picture. they said they did but was working on a bike and didn't have time to look for it and would get back to me. They never did???

Surprising, I though Rich had a fairly big operation with more than just one staff person. They should have enough time to look for you. Or perhaps their stock of parts are just for their own past Fly customers.
