Made the boost bottle the right size for my motor 70cc,s with plumbing, and painted it black They work, i got better throttle response and more mid range power, a better idle too. Plus they are so easy to make

I dont know why other than a change in temp my scoot is running very rich now. I have tried everything i can think of and it still has a bad bog at full throttle. I put my smallest main jet in 80 and that helped, but i still am getting a nasty bog when transitioning from just about any throttle position to WOT, sometimes i have to let off or it will flood. I know a change in temp can require a main jet change but i would have thought going from an 85 to an 80 main would do more than help. I also have my needle set at the leanest setting. I cleaned my carb thinking maybe something was clogged in it, checked my enricher, I even unplugged the boost bottle to see if that helped. Im outta ideas and ready to order some new jets. Any ideas?

It ended up running best without an air filter at all. I am going to check the enricher again, and clean the carb again. I am getting a few smaller mains, but i still cant believe it would run so rich it will flood out if im not careful with the throttle . I even went out last night after it cooled down a bit to see how it would run. This time it was the same deal, and i know it was cooler outside than Skeedr has been ran in before. This thing is maken me think....ouch, it hurts lol. I know i know, get a smaller main. They wont be here for a few days and im wondering if thats even the problem. If it were running lean it would be so much easier to fix, bigger main or air leak. Not this time, i gotta work on this one.

I ended up filling an old over drilled main i had with jb weld and drilling a smaller one. I started lean and drilled it out until i found the best tune. I used 2 plugs to tune it but other than that it was free, and i like free. I ordered new mains but i couldnt wait for them to come in the mail, for one i needed wheels, for two it was bugging me wondering if the main being to big was really the cause. Now i know, and i feel better lol.

Update on my belt from Autotech: I had my cover off yesterday for a cleaning and inspection and noticed that my belt had a tear in it . Its not all the way through, the back of the belt tore about half inch long, it was a very thin peice of the belt so i cut it off before it tore more off. I also used some rubber cement to try and slow down the tear. Autotech sells good stuff for the money spent, im not sure if the belt was a lemon or if they are just crappy belts?

When i had my cover off yesterday for a cleaning and inspection of parts. I picked up some graphite powder at autozone for $3 so i figured i would give it a try. After a cleaned everything up i put my rollers(sliders in my case) back in and tapped a little powder in the ramps, and on the variator bushing(that helped it spin noticeably better). After i put Skeedr back together Uncle and i went for a ride, he did the same to his scooter. I noticed a better "shift", and just smoother all around, with better take off! I figured it would help out but i really wasnt expecting that much. My stuff wasnt that dirty before either. I would recommend graphite if you havent already used it

I was sick of my ugly rubber (welcome mat) floorboard so i ended up putting this stuff from 3-M on there. Its very sticky stuff and works great, allot better than the welcome mat i had. Sometimes my foot would even catch it and it would roll up and mess up my footing. i almost threw it one day . Now im happy ;D and i think this looks better to. Heres the old mat And heres the new one

How is that graphite holding up for you. When I've used it in the past it always needed frequent re-application. I'd be a little concerned about it getting on the belt, but that should wear off quickly.

Seems to be holding up well for me, not sure how long it will last though. I wouldnt worry to much about the powder causing belt slip, they actually recommend graphite powder for your rollers. You are probably correct about it wearing off quickly but for $1.99(i looked at the price again) i figured it couldnt hurt right?

I just won a set of 10in Zuma wheels with a set of almost new set of Michelin Boopers off e-bay ;D. They cost me almost $160 shipped but i figure it was worth it considering the tires alone would have set me back about $100 or more. The wheels are aluminum and they are the style i have been wanting so i am a happy camper right now . I cant wait to see how Skeedr rides with a set of Boopers on some nice wheels painted black , maybe powder coated black? hhhmmm
