New Problem got my scoot running and everything has been great my new air filter came today Open Element style from scrappy. she starts up great and runs fine but when i Pull the throttle WOT or even lower she bogs out does not die but comes close. I my mind I start to think the air/fuel mix is off since I am sucking in a bit more air then be4 so I tune the carb a bit and still the same thing. could I need to up/jet or is there away around this valves are set to .004 and .005 what has me stumped is when I put the stock air box back on so I can get to work and fix my problem later it is still bogging out on me and will not run with a load on it (me) sitting on the stand she runs fine and only boggs when pull the throttle and fun her for a min or to at 1/2 or wot any ideas I feel like a noob since I just had this problem after a wreck but fixed it no problem Wolf Read more: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=discussion&thread=34790#ixzz15re8Sxlr

yes, you do probably need a larger jet with the air filter change. since you have the same problem when you put the stock filter back on, check for vacuum leaks.

i would start by pulling the carb and cleaning it good (make sure you pull the jets and clean them) then replace the fuel and vacume lines

you will need to go up on jet size, pilot jet also. as the others have said check for vacumn leaks around the intake mounting holes
