1st meet up! I would have waited around but after about a hour and a half, SLC's finest keep circling around so I decided to boogie. no one showed but I later found out that one of the other clubs in the valley was having their last ride of the year that same day, so I bet that had something to do with it. Im planning on another one next weekend, meet-n-greet and event planning for next season. Im going to promote it alot more as well.

A friend of mine and I started a car club many years ago. We bumped into another couple guys with that car, invited them over to talk about forming the club and began with the four of us, it grew to about 20 members and did well for a while. It grew by word of mouth and personal invitations.
so you might try that tactic.

let me tell you its a lot of work to get a group together then you run into problems getting them all together in our group i find that people like to complain that we dont have enough rides or rides when its good for them you ask them to plan a ride or event and they say they dont have time but you plan an event and they dont show up we normaly have 3 or 4 that show up for just about every ride we plan
but good luck with your venture it can be discouraging at times but keep at it
