Hi, Kliff, your scoot is looking cool! This is my first post on this site. I have been busy finishing up the school year and have not touched or ridden my scooter in nearly a month. My temp license is expired so I have to get it renewed before I can get my permanent license.
I don't know if you recall, but I was having problems getting my oddball CVT back together and I still don't have the cover back on. I now have the time, so I will start on my project immediately...I really wish I would have gone the 250cc unit I originally wanted but I didn't and I don't know if I can recover enough of my purchase price to afford what I want...Anyway, your scoot is looking mighty fine. If you ever get over to Atlanta with it, pm me. I would love to see it.

Will do Harry. I may get a 2fiddy one day too, but I love the smaller whell 1fiddies. Sure hate the "big wheel" models bastardized the CVT on ya. Sell it, and get something with 12 or 13" wheels in a 1 fiddy, then you pretty well be mainstream... just ask before you buy, to be sure.
2fiddies come with their own problems, nothing that can't be sorted, but I'm sure harrywr2 or jr can fill you in on the cooling systems, and any other particulars that will require time during the PDI.

I tell ya what, MaddMaxx has been such fun to build, I'm gonna do another similiar scoot..."Johnny Yuma" in tribute to the Scooter Rebels themselves. And it will be done in sharp lined geometrical urban camo Light and dark gray, blue, white, and black...so a weatherred rear whitewall, just might fit right in....

you might just have a market for the Maxxes if you want to start up a scooter manufacturing business.

i knew id at least half convert ya and i agree with rebel the maxxes would make an awesome speacial edition at some scoot shop , gert with a impoter and buy the frames get a bulk order , wheels , prebored blocks etc ewtc why buy parts you arent gonna use heck the wiring is really simple on these anyway when ya break them down into sections so ... hmmmmmmm gosh its easy to dream with someone elses time and money lol
