What's neat guys about the Samsung phone is you can get free software to download all your picture with and the jumper/usb cable is only $5 to hook up to the computer!! Here is the programming; I just plug mine into the usb cable and open it up and copy or cut the pictures from the camera and plop in onto the computer where ever I want to keep it. For my actual digital camera I pull the memory card out and stick it in the card reader slot on the front of the computer and open it up and again just copy or cut the picture out and put it where it belongs, don't need no special software for that.

So these things actually DO cool? Now I am totally confused... (A natural condition at my age...) I'm just happy our scoots run well with them for WHATEVER reason! And they do look cool!
Our scoots look MIGHTY similar! I'll have to send you some Texas tomcat juice so they can match even better! (LOL)!
Great Southern minds think alike... Road-kill carpet... You ARE my kind of guy! I had to check your location. Yup. Georgia... That's just as good as Texas!
Git 'er done, Reb!

And figguring you done ripped out all the original "grilling" from the fan shroud, I'd say your's is working too. We don't need no stinking paper on the wall, or 3rd party opinions...we got cajones to get out there and DO IT, PROVE IT...our chit works main! Tejas TomCat Juice huh.....bring it on main. These things are damn near twins.....LOL. Gettin n'er down, even in the face of adversity and the naysayers.....GETTIN' 'ER DONE! but keeping a little more in reserve now.... some of that sperience gonna roll out slower than 'lasses on December day now.... with my withdrawal from the CBR, I'll be concentrating on street longevity, and drag racing... be looking for me and a certain QMB afficienado to be coming up with some wild stuff... Gonna sprout some wings an start a 250 profect here soon too...maybe I can find a few other things the hard heads at SD, and prevalent naysayers ain't touched on, or been able to figure out yet......LMAO....maybe not. Whwere's my meds.....time to calm down a little.... Better keep yer wall paper JR....you're gonna be needin' it more that I.

Oh Jr,
Is DAT a gen-u-ine Arkie razorback? Closest thing to a hog I'll probably get near these days! (And then, ONLY with a .44 maggie in hand...) Very COOL! Definitely would keep tomcats at bay...
No mothballs yet, but maybe. I just can't bring myself to evict the little furballs. Neighbors shoot 'em, trap 'em, poison 'em, etc. They seem to sense they won't come to harm around my humble place. I guess I can tolerate a little piss now and then. Heck, I've been getting pissed on (or pissed off) for decades! LOL!
Have a great weekend!
Leo
PS: I won't get into the middle of the "great fan scoop drama"... Kliff seems to find they are OK... Suffice to say they seem to work, for WHATEVER reason. Anyway, I like the way they look... That's enough.
Looks like 250's will be the next big deal! Has anyone ever taken a monster snowmobile engine and CVT tranny and grafted it into a scooter? Seems like possibly a neat idea! Those things put out some SERIOUS ponies!

the thought of a snowmobile engine in a scooter scares me as much as the thought of JR in a thong " ( | )"

Jr,
Yeah, the 300 Browning will get it done... Should scatter bacon all over dem hills! You never can have "too much gun". I once met a guy who was hunting razorbacks with a .357 Colt, and one of those miscreants absorbed all six slugs, and then proceeded to nearly rip his leg off. NASTY critters!
Ah... So you've joined the ranks of us elite Rebs who've smacked a skunk with the scoot! EEEEWWWWW! GROSS! Well, back in the sixties, I was cruising a backwoods 2-lane on my pristine (and obscenely expensive) chopper, when into the headlight beam came that pesky striped kitty...
I was going TOO fast to stop (TOO fast for common sense...) and veered left, right, all over the road trying to miss Pepe La Pew, but he matched me move for move... SAD. I wore a WWII gas mask while removing bits and pieces of odoriferous remains from cylinder fins, cracks and crevices for a week. I buried my beloved Harley boots and jacket. Amazingly, I dug 'em up a year later, and they were OK after a cleaning... Had a nice "patina".
Lord, deliver us from the dreaded "striped woods pussy"!
As for the scoop... I do have one last (honestly, the LAST) theory. I wonder if at higher speeds, the air moving across the stock fan cover "hole" causes a slight vacuum, robbing it of enough air to suck in. AND, the bodywork nearby may make a "hole" in the air at speed, further robbing the fan area of air.
If so, the scoop may "hook" into the airstream, breaking the vacuum (probably the wrong word, but you know what I mean...). If so, it would simply replace the fresh air that "goes away" at, say, 45 mph or greater. I have a fair eye for air-flow, and it looks to me like the combination of the placement of the fan cover "hole" and the lower body plastic of the scooter may create the "perfect storm" phenomenon that robs the fan of needed air at speed. If so, the little scoop may break that hole in the air, explaining why they seem to work.
Since my scoot is identical to Kliff's scoot in design, they obtain similar results? Maybe? Duh? Who knows...?
Anyway, thanks for the phone call! I was just writing this when you called. Great talking shop with you. Stay away from skunks! (LOL!)
Enjoy the Wife's new 250!

Dademoss,
Jr (or me) in a thong. HMMMM... A little scary... But three cylinders of 2-stroke madness, spittin' fire and castor oil from a trio of stinger pipes... About 200 horses of out-of-control whoop-tail sending you from zero to warp-nine in micro-seconds...? Now THAT'S scootin'!
Sounds just right for quick trips to Wally World to me! Betcha Kliff could build one, and wouldn't surprise me if he did!
But then, I'm too old to die young, so I'm a little crazy! (LOL)!
Enjoy the ride!
