nope i wasnt actauly ready for the parts i have to figure out what is wrong with my paypal account it keeps wanting to pay from the wrong account and wont let me pay from the right account i would like to have every thing here for the weekend and spend the long weekend geting the fi put on but if they arent here ill have to wait till the middle of june as i wont have any free weekends now if i have a few good pay checks i might be able to take the lcz down for a few days

ok i have my new intake and my air filter should be here soon today or tuesday
i still need to find a serial to usb adapter localy i do have a friend that i migh be able to borrow one from but its a matter of meeting up with him i will see him next weekend at the spring confrence for order of the arrow and he will be on our wilderness camping trip
ok just a bit of a review of what i have found so far being they ship out of hong kong i will end up sourceing fuel lines localy i also decided to pull the tape off the wire harness just to double check any conections i found one of the pins going into the ecu wasnt fully seated (no big deal) and i also found one spot on the harness where i wasnt 100% happy with the heat shrink tube coverage but being it was taped up very well i doubt it would ever be an issue
i also dont care for the eco/rich switch i will do somehting about that down the line
but they do seem to be a custom unit put together for you as i wanted the 02 sensor so i dont have a mil lamp but matt did say that down the road we can look at setting it up for a mil lamp if i want
i did do a bench test a the fuel pump fires up so things should be good
maybe this weekend i will strip her down and start to figure out where to put things
and im glad i kept my oem throttle cables as i will need one of them for the throttle body

well no such luck when i hooked things up acording to the wire diagrams i had no spark when i pull the ground wire for the fi kit for the cps i get spark and it runs on spray

ok i looked at things again and i got her to run on FUEL INJECTION
i do have a bit more work i have to clearance a motor mount so the injector clears and i can get the throttle body on good

i still ahve to clean up the rats nests of hoses and get things zip tied in place find a place to mount the ecu
get my air filter and get the dam thing pluged into a computer

I liked the way it sounded.
Just think, not that long ago, the thought of adding fuel injection seemed impossible.

yep and after about 4 hours of work its running i proably have another hour of cleaning things up 15 minutes to put the pannels back on the scoot and how ever long it takes to tune it

tomorrow my serial to usb adapter should be in so i will then be able to get to sending files back and forth and get the thing on the road
today i got my air filter mounted up the issue i ran into was getting the air filter to clear parts of the frame i needed either a 90 deg mount or a 45 deg mount with a small filter but the one i got is straight the one in th idc catalog that they say is 45 deg is too small to get on the throttle body
but i went out to a grand am that is awaiting a trip to the junk yard and cut the upper rad hose off as it happens to have a 90 deg bend on it and used that to mount up the air filter it was a snug fit getting it on the throttle body but its on
ill get some pics later

I saw 51 mph, what was the top speed before? In my book that is going pretty good.

i had been able to hit 55 but on that scretch of road it was right about where it was before
im also climbing a slight hill thru there
there is just a little lag off the line to work with but i know my rollers are too heavy they were before the fi

well i put some lighter rollers in today and got all the plastice put on
i still cant get in to flash the ecu so im only running one injector and i put about 10 miles on in the rain today if the weather is good maybe tomorrow i will try a fuel mileage run into town and see what i get for mpgs

well im up to 42 mpg on the eco mode and it stayed at 35 mpg on the rich mode
on the eco it is still a bit rich and the rich its real rich
so i realy need to get the adapter to get into the map and see what i can do to lean it out a bit
now the down side for all you city hoppers i am going to be adding a battery tender and pluging her in every couple of days it looks like i did a bit of city hop scooting today on and off 6 times in 60 miles and i used the ele start all times and even with my larger battery there was a loss of .3 to .4 volts and that was with lots of wot scooting
