after 4 abdominal surgeries in the last 4 years my belly wasn't feeling good during my rides. i searched for kidney belts, found some dimensions and decided to make one for myself. a trip to a tandy leather store 100 miles away, i bought the hardware and leather and started in on the belt. everything was made by me, there is about 2000 hammer strikes to make the basket weave pattern. total time working the leather is about 10 hours.

i made it not knowing if it would work for me. i called a friend, put the belt on, met him at his place and we rode our bikes to get a burger. 50 mile round trip and i think i got it right. it felt good to not have my belly shaking around.

I was in Harbor Freight the other day and noticed they had a "new product tag" on this charger/maintainer. Cost was $20.00, I needed one to charge my mower battery, with a 20% off coupon,it cost me $16.00 plus sales tax. I got home with it and hooked it up to the mower an let it do its thing for the night. The next day the mower started right up, better than ever before.
