Ok sooo aside from the entire superior power sports debacle
The girlfriends scooter and only work transportation got stolen the other night at 9pm at night.... GO FIGURE
Today I ordered her a new scooter from someone I have heard is trust worthy Scootersus.com I have known and spoken to the owner often the past 3 years John Dikov
She liked a model he offered so we bought it today.. Now the rest of the story
Today we did the following
Bought concrete (3 bags quikrete fast setting)
PVC tubing in a wide U shape (keep reading)
4 pieces of Rebar
and Gravel
Drill 2 holes in the bottom of the U pipe for drainage
Dig hole 3 feet wide 3 feet deep
layer of gravel for drainage under the U pipe
Put pipe into hole on top of gravel
Bend 2 pieces of rebar into U shapes to make staples and hammer them down across the pipe
Pour some concrete in to secure the pipe and rebar staples
put the other 2 rebar pieces onto the top of the pipe in an X pattern
pour the rest of the concrete into the hole to about an inch from the top of the U Pipe
Let it set and when the concrete is done pull dirt back over the hole to make the pipes ground level
Your done... Homemade concrete anchor you can pass chain thats pretty thick through it.. we can easily pass at max one 5 inch chain through it
plus a industrial lock rated at 17,000 lb cut resistant and 8,000 lb pry resistant
solar powered motion sensor flood light and 24/7 recording camera on the driveway hooked to my DVR and viewable from online as well

I dont care who looks at it.. It only shows my driveway and the spot we just dug out
Now the PVC pipe is jointed pipe basically 4 elbows put together the joints are not sealed so the bottom section thats in the gravel can still seep water out and the main drain holes will allow water to drain. Concrete encases the u pipe all except the very bottom. So even if a thief brakes the piping its still a chain passing through a concrete block buried in the ground
if a thief hits the concrete with a hammer it has rebar reinforcing it..
thief tries to pull the chain out its being held back by a concrete block I am not sure how much quikrete weighs when its set I assume 3 x 50lbs plus water weight so its almost 200 lbs of weight holding it down
plus the front tire of a scooter will be parked right at it.. hard to swing a hammer with a scooter there
I am thinking the best way to do this is if a single scooter is parked there pull the scooter OVER the hole and tightly wrap the chain around the floorboard section... they cannot lift or move the scooter out and they cannot Hit the hole with a hammer..
What do you guys think our our solution...

Also bought 2 new BB/Pellet guns - 800FPS rifle and a 480fps Pistol
So if I actually CATCH someone out there I will be shooting a sort of NON lethal weapon.. I do have a 45 Pistol though if I decide to actually hurt them
