Who here works for GS or knows who the owner is. I just had the most horrible experience with an employee there and when I asked to speak to his boss he hung up on me, not once but twice, and said he was canceling my trunk order. I am so angry I am shaking... If anyone can help please let me know.

Wow, I'm surprised, I've always had great service from them, call back and ask to speak to John in parts, he'll work through your problem.

Yes, John is a great guy. It is him I am ALWAYS happy to talk to. He was at lunch when I called the first time, and it is HIS boss that I am having a problem with. When I asked for the name of his boss is when he said he was canceling my order and hung up on me. I will PM Kliff, thanks Rebel. John may even be able to help me when I call back.

Well, I guess I am having to find out who it is that this guy works for from Eagle Parts. They have a BBB rating of F I found out. So I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I have been hung up on 3 more times now. I can't believe that they condone this kind of customer service. John seems to be the only one who is polite and business like. This last time I talked to them I was put on speaker phone to be yelled at by more than 1 person. I was told this guy is in charge of the entire business. When asked if he was the owner I was told no. I informed them I would be finding out who the owner is. I have since found out and have a message at the main office for a call back. As much of a jerk this guy is he probably called them up ahead of time to tell them I am nuts. He seems to think that treating the customers like this is alright.... I am still shaking my head at the whole thing. My trunk arrived during this whole ordeal, and I was told that none of this would have happened if I had just checked my front porch. It had arrived just moments before my last phone call, I remember seeing the UPS guy when I came home from my errands. Well, I will keep you all posted, and if any GS people on here know who I should be talking to let me know. Thanks again for your input..... and letting me vent. Patti

John and Steve are the only 2 I deal with, and John always get's something done, and it has always been to my satisfaction. from what I understand, the GM, is a "numbers guy." Knows nothing about a scoot, and has no desire too. Don't be shocked, this is prevalent policy in more big business than you'd think. Corporate policy has 2 basic feilds of beleive, #1 a passionate servitude to your product and clientele, with which profits will follow. Customers for life, require a bit more consideration and time, but lifetime profits will be as high, or higher than methodology #2.
#2 a passionate servitude to max profit, in which clietele is used, abused, and cast aside, as a 1 time customer is quick money
FOORTUNATELY what you have are 2 employees in positions of importance, JOHN and STEVE who beleive in policy #1, but have to deal with, and act as go between for you, and ultimately HIS boss( a #2'er). Good luck, wish I could do more.

Worse is probably that he's somebody they inherited in the Tao Tao buy out. When they were just GS Motorworks they were absolutely a great company to deal with. Now you have a numbers guy who figures one unhappy customer out of a thousand or so is only the slightest blip on his chart.
Keep dealing with John. He's the heart and soul of the company and will always get you what you want.
