After checking out JR's thread about gas prices, I was just curious what kind of gas mileage everyone is getting. Give us a brief list of major engine mods if you have any.

2002 50cc Derbi Atlantis 2t. Everything modded except ignition and ignition timing and final drive ratio. Close to 60 mpg. Runs with or better than most stock 150cc four strokes.

I'm averaging 58mpg. 36/110 jets, drilled airbox and muffler, iridium plug, EGR removed, manual petcock, are the only engine mods. Terrain, quite hilly. Load, my 260lbs daily. Commute to and from Dad's, round trip 45 miles minimum, unless I run some additional errands. Fill 'er up, every two days.

If Google conversions from l/km to mpg are correct it looks like I am getting about 84 mpg with my current setup. All city driving, a lot of stop and go at lights.

I think I might enjoy Ct. then...here in Texas, the speed limit on residential streets is 65...or at least that's what the kids roaring down my street seem to be doing...
