Whew,It ain't a scooter, but HOW COOL!!!250 cc V-twin engine, independent rear suspension, disk brakes all around, Harley-style old-school springer fork, Harley-style gas tank and gauges... I found this on the Scooter Depot website just by accident, and it is the absolute sharpest chopper-type trike I've ever seen from a factory. Want something wilder than this? You'd have to build it yourself! For about $3,200 and $200 shipping, this may be one of the sharpest bargains around! Slap on a set of straight pipes, replace the trunk with an aluminum keg gas tank and you're good to go!Enjoy! Leo in Texas

the only problem I'd be concerned about it is parts availability. I've seen these chinese motorcycles on web pages, bu wonder if they stock anything for replacement parts.

I surely don't know about this particular one, but it looks like it uses the Lifan 250 V-twin that clones the Yamaha Virago. Those engines are all over eBay... This trike uses an independent rear suspension, and I'd bet the farm it's pirated from a 4WD ATV. So... hopefully parts would be plentiful. The springer fork, lights, gauges, tank and such look unique to this one, but probably can be found on various Lifan 2-wheel cycles (except maybe for that LONG and beautiful fork...). Here's one of their pix larger, so you can see the thing better...Of course, it's NOT a scooter, but it's the best looking "Hog wannabe" I've seen yet! IF they'd make a 2-wheel version of this one, EVEN WITH A RIGID FRAME, it would sell faster than Mao's workshops could make them! It would be what the Hardknock Kikker should have been. There are a few V-twin 250 2-wheel "choppers" out there, but none with the old-timey appeal of this one. Being a long-time Harley chopper fan and rider, I really hope HD's new Chinese entity can learn something from these guys... They seem to do "Harley" better than Harley. EEEWWWW! Wash my mouth out with soap... But this one is definitely genuine "old-school" without the goofy Chinese touches. OK, so you could lose the chrome racks and trunk, and add a keg-fuel tank, but nothing's perfect LOL! If Harley would copy this exact design, scaled up with a copy of the Swede-built new knucklehead engine, it might just save them... Even built in China! Do I like this toy? OH YEAH...I think we need to recriut some Scooter Rebs in China! Leo in Texas

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and purchased the Road Warrior's twin, the Snow Leopard which is exact except for the long forks and all that chrome to shine. I am new to scooters and mechanics. I ride a Honda Shadow Ace Deluxe which I LOVE, went through 5 Harleys, by the way, to get to my Honda, but there comes a time when a tad more support is needed....Affordable support! hooohummmm Anyway, I am doing the PDI myself, so far I have put on the front wheel....booyaaahhhh LOL, and changed out ALL the fuel hoses. Problem with that was those dang clamps. Have to buy screw type and they are a bit of a pain to fit that 3/4" screw in such tight places around the carburator. Finding information on this bike has been the biggest pain, as I know NUTT-N-HONEY!

And, yes, it is a 250cc Lifan engine. Thank the Lord it is a clone to the Yamaha, so parts are available everywhere. If anyone else out there has one of these bikes or plans to have one, post here please or on Scooterdawg or SD. BTW, am I supposed to hold in the left brake to crank? I have tried without the brake but nothing. All electrical seems to work greak and it wants to start but not knowing scooter types, not sure about this. You guys are just great on these sites. I'm sooooo glad I found them. You all have a GREAT day !!! Harleyann1

Harleyann1,
Welcome to the forum.
I think there is a safety feature tat makes you have to hold that brake to start it up.
It would be great if you posted some photos of your trike, let us know about how it performs, the kind of gas mileage you get, if you have any problems.
So it is a Lifan and you have actually bought Yamaha parts for it? What parts have you used/needed.
You might try a zip tie instead of hose clamps if it is that had to get to it.

Being new to looking into the 250cc trikes, I do like the look of the PST250T with the springer front end, but I also saw on some distributor sites there is a MC_TS2502 which looks like a Harley soft tail with no springer front end and no chrome racks on the fenders. It has 13 inch rear wheels and not the 12 inch ones on the PST. Is the MC_TS2502 obsolete or another option? They both go by the Road Warrior name.

Opus, welcome to the forum.
How about posting a link to the trike you are talking about.

I am really surprised it has a independent rear end. Ice bear had a problem with that a few years ago maybe the got the bugs out.

I did not read the text on the page but the pics looked like a solid rear axel, I would not be surprised if it doesn't have independent rear suspension.

I agree that the rear axel looks solid and the right up specs state that there is no rear suspension. It's just a different modification of a 250cc but the dealer is calling it by the same name as the one with the springer front end, the Road Warrior. I'm still leaning for the PST250 version anyway.

For those who were wondering about what the Ice Bear PST250 Road Warrior sounds like and looks like with a rider on it, I found this link. Its not the greatest but it does give some more info on the sound and looks.
