Quote: "Ain't that the truth Leo! I got luckey and was able to cancel one I had on order, before it shipped, and sold the other I'd bought, with nothing more than a PDI in time and minimal materials lost...broke even.
We don't need no stinkin' outta da box trikes! If and when I consider them as an option again, I'll probably use MaddMaxx as a platform, and build my own. I'll leave that store bought stuff to the little prissies, afraid to get their scoot wet, then paying someone to clean it... idiots, that knows all and can do all....LMAOROTFF!
How d"oes Rotax 440, twin cylinder 2 smoke with torque converter drive, and a reverse box sound? 40HP stock, 2 smoker power...... hmmmm???[/quote]"[/i]
WHOO HOO Kliff!
I've been thinking how cool a monster 2-cycle with torque converter would be for ages! Talk about NASTY! THAT has GOT to be a good idea!
Now that potential rear wheel/tire combos are nearly limitless, the look of the thing could be perfectly tailored to be "just right". Some of the newer factory trikes now even use independent suspension on the rear. No reason a custom build couldn't be just as "high-tech". Then there's always the "backwards" setup like the Can Am, with 2 wheels up front. The possibilities are endless!
This trike thing could be big!

I saw a thread the other day that I kind of had a feeling that he was talking about us. Unfortunatley he doesn't know all the read between behind storys that has happened there. Anyway, as soon I win the lotto or come into an inheritence I am going to get David one and then there will be another trike addiction and maybe even another Rebel to talk shop with here.

I've built all kinds of different kinds of motor driven vehicles from mini bikes,go karts, motor cycles and trikes and have built several boats and honestly,I feel no less proud or any more ignorant or any less manly by owning a outta da box trike. Hmmmm!! I know I'm a little on the wierd side, but, ride whatcha got and be proud it's yours.

hahahahahaha, I just passed by a group of big bikes going through our town and waved at them and nobody waved back, but, they all turned to look at my bike, one girl passenger gave the thumbs up and got an elbow in the gut from her driver. It was priceless.
