Now I know this is old hat. But I haven't seen anyone mention this. The Chinese haven't figured out what Henry Ford did a hundred years ago. Or really Ely Whitney. Inter changeable parts. Every Scooter I've seen from China has the parts made to fit what's been done before. Even though it is on an assembly line of sorts. Now I know we wouldn't have toys that are Sooooo cheap to play with if it wasn't for that. But, DUDE, read your World History. Just about anyone with a screwdriver and a drill press can fit parts better. My rant for the evening.
RD <------is infamous for getting off the subject. So here's my shot at it. Nice Kliff Lolol. In all sincerity, this Honda is really comining along.

Don't get scared by Kliffs work, he is excellent at doing this, get yourself a good square to make the angles 90 degrees and take it one step at a time, it will come together.

Thanks Kliff! I really appreciate it! I think that I may have something done by tomorrow, and be ready to weld it on Monday.
On a side note, my Scooter Rebels stickers came in the mail today!

started working on the stereo install I only had to drill one hole because on the other side I put the speaker were the volt meter was, I just had to trim it out a little bit (new one will go in the gauge cluster I built). I wasnt paying attention when I was enlarging the other whole with the Dremel, and scuffed it up. So I got out the Bondo brand finishing putty and went to work. Let it dry and then sanded it down and painted it flat black like the rest of the scooter. How it sits now: Going to put the other speaker on in the morning and finish wiring the amp up (and get pics of the amp installed )

Got the forks in today. Then, I painted the rear rack & gas tank with the undercoating spray. Painted the rims with Rustoleum high gloss protective enamel. The 2 coats of clear. Then I decided to pull the cylinder and check things out. Cylinder Piston (still connected) Head Going to probably replace the rings and clean up the cylinder. Maybe, I'll just get the CR-80 piston and bore out the cylinder to fit. Going to see if I can find a cheap piston kit. Going to run to Napa tomorrow and get the some conduit and recover the wiring harness.

a suggestion for the next time you paint your wheels. Instead of all the masking tape, use a long strip of cardboard, not corrugated like a box but the fiber type that is a thick single layer. Get one that is long enough to make a big circle that will go just outside the wheel to protect the tire, you make a big circle, put it over the wheel and spray the wheel, move it to each side of both wheels and reuse it.
