Yup, my buddies kid got into my parts box and found the paint that I had in the garage. Little brat. I have a sign that says 2-Stoke of Salt Lake on the door, so he must have saw it and thought it would be good thing to write it on my covers. I'm going to try to get that off tomorrow, and then may put some clutch cooling holes in it.

Yup, it did. It did a better job than I thought it would.

I used to haul motors down to the car wash then they started posting not to wash motors there, I never could figure that out. Normally they have a position on their selector switch for motors and tires.

Thats what mine had ( the selector). I just put it on engine /de-greaser, get it soaped up, then blast it with the high presser; then repeated it 3 times untill my 3:0 min was up.

Didn't do much today, went to Wally Mart and got some trailer clearance marker lights. Going to use them for lights under the floor board. They light up really good for such small lights. Paid $2.56 for the larger two and $1.97 for the little one. Then got a toggle switch with a red LED to control them. Then I'm going to build a little "control panel" for the switches and the 12v plug-in. pics of the lights "jerry-riged" up to show how they look at once. Off On

Hey, you better check out the local regs on lights. Some places do not allow under rig lights, and sometimes the color of the light becomes an issue.

I will. There mostly just there for show, so when parked or on a really short ride.

Mounted the lights to the floor board, I'll rig it up tomorrow when the epoxy dries and see how they look. Built the control panel, I need to go and get one more switch for the glove box lights. Painted half of the frame, will get pics of that tomorrow. Need to find a place to put the 12 V. Plug. here is a pic of the control panel. I need to paint it also.

Painted the frame today. This is the product I used. Rubberized Undercoating $3.97 at Wal-mart. frame painted: Had to rebuild the switch panel, while I was drilling the other hole for the switch, got to close to the other and screwed it up. This one is a little bigger and has the 3 switches side-by-side. Here are the lights mounted to the frame via JB weld. Going to try to get the wiring done tomorrow.

man, that frame is minimalistic. I'm thinking we need to move this thread to a build section, you might bet more participation there.

If you think this should be moved, go ahead. I was thinking about posting it there when I started documenting the swap.

You're moved man! I should have paid more attention to this particular thread. I love the swap, and low budget build criteria you're using....
You're in the TRANSPLANTS sectio now Bro... might wanna check out your avatar too.
