ditto what the other guys said, you have a sweet looking ruckus that will kick but and unless you are an expert on them nobody would suspect a thing. Thats the kind of look i like to see.

Finally got the scoot back up on the lift after making the rounds and did a pressure test. Found a couple leaks and tidied them up. Now anyone have any thoughts on where to start tuning? 100 main jet sound to rich to anyone? 110?

Sounds like a good starting point Jeremy. I'm not a 2t man, but I try 15% when I put better pipes and intake on a 4t. So if I had a stock main of 105. 1.05 x 15%=.1575 <120> It's usually a tad rich, but not a lot. Perhaps that will help.

Bit of frustration today.
The clear float bowl I put on the carburetor was to small in size at the bottom where the jet is. Starving the carb for fuel, swapped the old one back on it fired, briefly.
I had to switch some hoses around on the fuel pump, lucky for me during that process my spray painted portion of the front frame section now needs repainted thanks to the fuel dripping on it... bitchin'.
Got it started and I had to screw the idle screw all the way in to get it to idle right with a 100 main jet. It promptly shut off during tuning and hasn't restarted since. Starter fluid, relentless kicks of the kick starter has yet to re awaken the beast.
Tomorrow is a new day.

So that's why you were using your hand. I wondered. Ok it's flooded I think. If starting fluid didn't do it.

And then you messed up the paint too, automotive paint with a spray gun lasts longer.

You can never see where the paint had a few drips of fuel on it, this is why I powder coated the engine. Looks like a tear down is in order....maybe next winter.

Out and about today on a shakedown run. Still have a few wiring and final location of the license place and taillight issues to figure out. Its a real blast to ride and the gears really help out. Im running the Polini gears which I forget the exact number but it reduces it down from 4 to 3.38. I think I could use a lighter set of weights and fix up a rear fender to balance it out. More pictures after Friday night.
