How much was the kit, and where did you buy it? Also, detailed how-to porting info with photos would be much appreciated. Before/after photos would be ideal. Be sure to tell us what tools/tips you used to do the mild porting. That's my request, if you have the time. I bought the kit from a guy who was selling it on Scooterdog. A couple of people passed on it and I got it for $365 bucks, which was a hell of a deal. Sorry about the porting photos, they got deleted. The head didn't need much work, but I did clean it up quite a bit and gave it a valve job. The valves leaked on the assembled head, not much but it did leak. Most of material I removed was port matching it to a 30mm intake and the exhuast side.

Oh, another thing for the "Rebels" on here. If you are an acceleration junky like myself and don't run over 55mph for extended periods, or replaced your rear tire with a monster like I did and want some of your take off back, I found a company that makes higher gears for the rear that helps get you "out of the hole" quicker. It's a 13/43 gear set instead of a stock 13/40. I installed that today in my bike and it did make a difference in take off without hurting top end (I let off at 70, an actual 70 not a chimdometer 70). I wanted the gear becuase I'm running a 150/70/13 instead of the stock 130/60/13 and the taller tire ate up some of my take off with the old engine, but it looks cool which is why I kept it. www.pmcracetech.com
