scout is $1,799.00 msrp
symba is $2,398.00 msrp
Now if they would just put a dual range tranny in it there would be a reproduction of the Honda Trail 90/110.

It is unfortunate that the Symba is not available in the USA. The Scout can be had here. I went to the Fly web page and did a search for the nearest dealer and was disappointed, none in my area. I have not yet been able to find out if it is CARB approved for sale in California.
Reading the article you linked to KZ, I was amazed that the tank on the Scout is only 3 quarts, that is small. He said it was a comfortable ride, but ended with "We rode home in the van with the race bikes." Must not have been that comfortable then.

Don't get me started on how some people are. If it were me I would have finished the trip the way I started it, on my bike. Obviously this fellow got an offer for a ride home and took it.
Three quarts might not sound like a lot, but that's about all the Tank Sporty 150 holds also. Most of the replicas are in the same boat. My scooter only holds a gallon, but I stop every 60 miles in case. That's probably how often you have to stop on a Scout.

While not a record in this place one of the clones finally got in a good run this week. My wife took it to work and did a round trip of 37 miles. The trip included two good climbs one of which was about 9% and a good mile long. Coming down on the way home she said she saw 55 mph on the speedometer. It's been the vehicle of choice for grocery runs and has racked up about 70 miles this week between her work run and grocery trips.

Yeah, the Tomos is an actual mo-ped, pedals and all, 2 t .
But KZ was referring to the Scout, definite Honda replica.

As an update, my clone has almost 2,000 miles after three years of light use. It gets stronger as it gets older. I can cruise on it at 40 mph, indicated, with occasional bursts up to 45. It handles it easily and is getting 105 mpg. I use conventional motor oil since it's cheap and only stays in the bike for 600 miles. I have some Mobil One kicking around for my CF Moto Fashion but I'll have to see. I can tell you this thing is absolutely amazing for a 50cc. In three years I've only replaced two bolts, One tail light bulb and the battery (the original Chinese) and changed the spark plug to an NGK for laughs. It has been Honda-reliable since day one. With the milk crate on the back it carries a ton of groceries. It's so much fun that my wife takes it on shopping trips too. A definite good purchase.

And it's still running. I had to replace the tail light lens recently after the screws rattled out and it fell off. It's closing in on 4,000 miles and I've done some amazing trips with it. I used it twice last year for a pair of 80 mile rides and on both it got 135 mpg. Now that it's totally broken in I've had it up to 50 mph on a level road.
