No one in the area had the right thread pitch even to borrow. I'm just going to get the thing in on Monday and give it a try. Otherwise, I will have to replace the cam shaft...

The spindle that is for the flywheel is on the camshaft? I'm probably using the wrong part description but the spindle that nut goes on is attached to something...lol
The die wasn't ordered on Friday when I went into their shop. It was mistakenly not ordered till this morning. I hope to be able to get it back together sometime tomorrow.

That would be the crank shaft. Before you do that haul it to a machine shop and ask them to clean up the threads. Changing the crank shaft means pulling the motor out and taking it all apart.
