I got the valves adjusted and he adjusted the idle a bit. The other day when I came home something felt wrong but I thought the idle just needed to be backed off a bit...well, that's what I thought.
It is stuck in Go mode, I know it's an automatic but something isn't right and it kills itself if you use the brake.

I would guess a variator problem. I would take the cover off, put it on the stand with the rear wheel in the air and start it up, Rev the motor and see if the variator opens/spreds and closes.

Thanks all I know right now is this...it goes like I'm on the throttle and it doesn't like to back up even when the motor is off.

When it rains it pours...the mobile home community forced me to spend my "fix my scooter" fund to fix some exterior issues on my house...That scooter has been sitting for over a month and my brain is going wacko...I need to ride but can't get the tools & parts till at least next month now...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... I feel a little better now, I think.

I finally got the impact and got the parts off and low & behold...
The variator was missing a part, the rollers were down to the metal
The clutch casting was actually broke all the way around...

Well at least you know now. Should not be a lot of work to pop new ones in and get it going.

I hope so. Not being able to ride has been letting my brain go 100mph...I need that two wheeled therapy to calm down.

You'll probably notice a good improvement In performance with a new vaiator.

I finally got all the parts on and something still isn't right. The rear wheel still seems to spin constantly even with a new clutch pack/slider. And now something sounds like it's banging...
I'm at the end of my proverbial rope. The local guy I normally would even consider going to isn't seemingly open and after selling a lot of stuff to get the parts/tools I need it still won't work right...WTF

With the scoot off a the trans cover off. Spin the rear wheel and see what turns. The bell should spin but not the pulley

It was doing that. It sounds like something is hitting metal to metal but I can't see anything that would be doing that so far. My Mechanic is AWOL and my Friend is also AWOL...I don't know what to do with it. I cheaped out and didn't buy the tool to compress the clutch pack to tighten the lock nut. I have to keep making trips to the auto parts store to get help putting it back together...
