It makes a wheezing sound when I try to use the starter, I recently changed the fluids but am not sure I got enough into the transmission/clutch assembly area. Couldn't find the right viscosity as recommended by the manufacturer (No longer in business).
Any help would be appreciated.

A wheezing sound like maybe the carb fell loose or the intake boot is off
Or as in the engine sounds like it's turning slowly

Occasionally it will start but it won't stay running and if you give it throttle to try to coax it to keep running it stalls.

I charged the battery and greased the bendix on the starter. Solved the problem but still having issues when it starts running even warmed up with idle. And occasionally it makes a weird bogging sound when I go to take off. I think I need a new carb already.

Before you spend money on a carb, make sure you don't have a air/vaccum leak and that the valves are adjusted properly.

OK, I think I'm going to take it to one of the guys in town to look at. I'd rather not screw this one up too.
