I have a 2 week old new air blade 125. My problem is now the scooter will not start sometimes. I have to press the start button repeatedly. Specially in the morning time. Battery is ok because lights and other things work. The night before this problem occured the scooter was in the rain. So I also suspect somehow some part got wet. Now the scooter is already dry and I kept it out in the sunlight for a while. But still the problem is there. It will not start sometimes. When that happens If I throttle then it will start. Any idea what could be the problem and the solution. Thanks in advance

I would be checking electrical connections, one common error a lot of new riders make is that they forget that you have to apply the brakes to c9mplete the starting circuit.

Yep check all the ele connections also where is the fuel tank if it's above the carb you could have a bad petcock or poor vacuum source

Honda builds good bikes so I doubt it is something serious.

If it's like the yamaha they have several sensors tilt and side stand that can give a bit of grief. I also don't know about the fuel pumps all of the yamaha efi bikes had fuel pump issues My elite 150 even though it's older you have to use the rear brake not the front to start it

Check your starter solenoid for kicks and giggles some Chinese parts don't like the rain etc and will short out or just up and quit start at the solenoid if shorting a cross the terminals has it working follow the wires off it checking at connections as you go with a multimeter or even just a 12v bulb hooked to wires while pushing the start button.

In that case as stated before CENTERstand sensor not kickstand but larger centerstand that lifts the rear tire and possibly the brake sensor.I miss My old elite 125 ...just not the burnt legs from the heater

Glad to hear it is working fine, must have been a moisture problem then. Be sure to store it in a dry location.
