Got the new throttle cable on it but it runs like it's wide open.
And does anyone know why the electric start seems to be draining my battery so fast all of a sudden?

Bigger motors take more juice to crank them over Also unless your running wide open throttle there is very little dc juice made to charge the battery

Thanks, honestly it hasn't done more than start up and run wide open for a about half a minute since I got the final wiring done. Scappy say's I might have a bad charging system.
Also how do I know exactly if I have the correct throttle cable? Why is the motor running wide open when the throttle isn't pulled open?

If the cable has the right ends on it and it is close to the right length, it should work fine. If the adjustment is not right it can be too tight and make it idle too fast.
You might get a battery with more cranking m L amps t9 turn the motor over easier and if you don't have a volt meter in the instrument cluster you can mount one someplace to see if it is charging the battery or not.

Starts but won't seem to stay running. Purchased a bigger fuel filter from Scrappy and that seemed to help the start up but still won't stay running when I adjust the manual choke.
And it idles real high at start up.

I resolved the idle problem and actually a little ride but I learned to not let it sit running at idle for too long. It got hot and shut down, refused to start for about a mile or so of pushing it. Then it cranked right over and got me home safely.

Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner, was it a vacuum leak?

I had the throttle needle assembly incorrectly installed. I have a few bugs to work out but I ordered the oil/crankcase vent system from Scrappy to hopefully resolve one of the bugs.
The motor vibrates the chopper as well and I can only hope to not break anything.

Soft seize is not good Is this a forced air cooled engine and being run without a shroud If not you are lean and need to work on your jetting or you have an air leak

A guy I stopped to talk to said he thought I had a small leak at the exhaust.

If you are ordering a crankcase vent system because it is blowing oil out, you really need to figure out where the blow by is coming from.
Exhaust leaks need to be fixed before you run it a lot.

I am going with the crankcase ventilation system to hopefully prevent running out of oil. Today I let it idle a bit too long and when it got hot and stalled out it was nearly dry. According to Scrappy his crankcase ventilation is supposed to prevent you from running out of oil when you run it wide open for extended periods. I just want to be safe.
The hardest part for me about leaks is it is an Automatic which means I can't idle without someone sitting on the brakes. I don't have a lift

An automatic should still be able to idle without brakes on.
