A more sad news is that the SD forum has been monopolized and manipulated by one person.
SD is different without Rich.

I am a member over there but rarely go there. First of all a few of the members really do not appreciate me medling there.

It as my understanding that Rich had "willed" the forum to J.R. I know he had made him an admin there a few months ago. I assure you that Proboards is very strict on how forum ownership is transferred and without formal transference plans and request being done to Proboards and a willing receiving party, the forum just goes into a limbo with no ownership.

Doug you are correct, Rich by his own design and according to Proboards rules made a continuation plan with them that in the event of his passing SD forum would be passed on to me as sole owner and admin. It was his wish and Proboards did indeed honor and do the transfer according to his wishes.

I am truly honored that Rich thought enough of me to pass the forum to me. We laid our difference aside and became best of friends and I truly miss him and wish he was still around.

To the OP here which is no secret as far as who is I say to you that SD will live on in Rich's honor and is doing just fine since he has gone and even though the membership is still in a state of sadness they do know that the forum is alive and well, has admin and moderator support and also which was mentioned in the tribute to Rich that the forum would be ran just like Rich wanted it ran and is doing just fine.

In your statement of monopolizing, all forums just have a single admin/owner and that's the way the system works. Good admin/owners work with the members and do what it takes to keep a forum peaceful and well and Doc is doing just fine.

I would think your concerns about the well being of SD would be better addressed at ScooterDoc.

i can't exhaust thinking how in the world i can address my concerns in SD when i am unjustifiably banned over there, i was mummed and handcuffs and even ganged up, Cyborg has been eager and hungry to eliminate me, "someone" so influential gave him the power to be the  instrument to ban me.
IMO, the 2 SD's (scootdawg and scooterdoc suffered the same fate,under one common denominator , who?...for ya'll to find out!!
im sure Rich will be very sad to know that i got banned at the Doc. .. RIP Rich, RIP to our friendship and RIP Scooterdoc.....

Start a blog, write a letter, complain to proboards I don't need another forums dirty laundry aired out here. Either participate in a civil manner here and leave out complaints regarding other forums or find someplace else.

I got along just fine with Rich, we did have a couple periods when we had differences, usually when he was not on his medications but in general we supported each other and the actions we took on things.

Luke it has been a few months, time to move on. If you are still grieving over the loss of a friend, I understand but perhaps you need to seek out some grief counseling.

Everytime i look at my scooter, i think of rich,, he calls my motphous heidious and we had a good laugh about it.
But bluefront is different, and up to now i still dont believe that he's dead, and also Earthman who is married to beladonna,, haaay those were the scootdawg happy days!! I miss it..
