Got the new 150cc and started it for the first time today, Did not ride it, however, when attempting to shut it off, it keep running so I had to pull the plug wire to shut it off. Everything works fine, lights - horn* blinkers, its all great. I could only find A you tube video about someone pulling a prank on someone where their engine wont shut off and they do this by cutting a wire that looks like its looped . At this point I dont know where to begin.

new to me, never had anybody post about this before. I'd suspect the ignition switch is bad.

did you try the kill switch or just turn the key off
I would start looking for wires on the kill switch and key switch that are not hooked up

Both. Nothing shut it off.I am hoping to find a loose wire. Do you know what the one terminal is for that just have single wire looped back and plugged into a terminal with several wires ?

Great thank you. I will look into that as well. I am thinking it could be that because the battery was hooked up wrong for a few seconds and the wire with the fuse was not attached. Does that make sense ?

This ended up being a loose wire in the 4-hole side of the CDI. Pushed it in and now it shuts off just fine. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

On that new scoot it might be well to pop the panels off and go over every connection you have, as well as checking for loose bolts and nuts. The is a PDI how-to online written by someone calling their self 'The Big Guy' and it's wonderfully thorough advice.
