my new clutch is tight in the bell acting like the springs arent compressing the shoes in far enough.the only way for this to work was to use my old springs.i plan on a pipe and need the rpms so why arent these red springs working for me

The springs stretch out for the shoes to grip at certain RPM levels, I would guess you were not reving high enough for them.

You say new clutch is tight in the bell there are 2 clutech sizes 105 and 107 mm A 107 clutch will be tight in a 105 bell and a 105 clutch in a 107 bell will slip

If you buy the wrong size springs (mm lengths) it will effect this. It's why they go by your engine type for the clutch parts. Sometimes sellers also falsely advert parts. Ive seen so many diff setups for centrifugal clutches, there are common sizes but just like the clutch pads and drums springs can sometimes vary
