whats up everybody? new to this crap in general so need some adivce if u could help it would greatly be appreciated. my scooter barely stays running at red lights, unless im revving it up which i dont believe is good for the engine. then Last night i was driving from 4-9 off and on doing laundry then i went to my girlfriends house for 2 hours then it wouldnt start and i killed the battery. its a 2 stroke Eton Beamer R250. thank you for reading.

Guess you got this used
Start with a fresh spark plug cleaned air filter ensure the air box is properly seated to the carb Make sure the vacuum line is good as well as the fuel line

thank you. would the choke have anything to do with it? I started using it later this evening and it started fine and stayed running. idk if I need to switch to 93 or not

If it has been sitting a long while fresh gas might be helpful.

Yes choke can cause a hard start no start issue I would still double check all the stuff I mentioned before Rule of thumb with a 2 stroke any issue new plug and clean the air filter and make sure the air box is hooked up right These things were built to run on cheap gas I work in the fuel industry and unless you go to a station that the high octane is on its own hose and and Doesn't mix for mid grade you are getting almost a gallon of what ever the last guy pumped
