Here in ne wi we have been running e10 for over 20 year. If you buy into the myths of e10 being bad for your engine i feel sorry for you. What does "e10" mean?

Stands for ethanol 10 percent. Not really enough alcohol to do damage but a lot of people swear it messes their rides up. Like WI, CA has been on it for decades and nobody here has any choice at all, does not seem to have hurt anything I have.

Funny thing is many people that say there is issues with it add heet to there fuel in the winter Its the same thing Water will be suspended in the fuel instead of settling to the bottom of the tank and causing rust issues For storage treat your fuel.with seafoam If you decided to use stabile us marine for ethanol fuels
In the warmer months when the price point is good enough i even run e85 in my non flex fuel explorer below 40 deg its a little harder to start that is why just the warmer months

E 85 would be a real challenge for a carbureted motor, it would need larger jets in the carb. Fuel injected ones might be able to compensate.

Yeah, I have a cousin that used to race ATV's he ran alcohol and would have to use jets twice the size he would for gas. E85 is pretty close to just flat alcohol. I have wondered about running it in my pick up because it is so much cheaper than the now regular e10 gas. I just have been concerned because if I put it in there and it did not run well, I'd have to drain the tank to put the other stuff in. I guess you could just try adding some at a time and see how it works.

What i did was at half a tank top off the first time i have never filled with e85 from lesx the 1/4 tank But before i did i checked some parts on a flex fuel vrs non flex fuel explorer The only parts that were diffrent was the ecu and injectors yet they used the same injectors in a larger non flex fuel aplication
