They say my 250 is capable of 75 mph. I wouldn't know. I've kept it at 60 or below since I got it. When an engine is screaming at you it's not saying "Go faster". If you tell someone how dumb they are these days, it's flaming. People wouldn't have half the problems they have with Chinese scooters if they used their heads.

Fox, kz,
You two are making sense, you just have to stop that. People just don't care about logic and common sense anymore.

I don't think it will help you TN but I wholeheartedly recommend www.partsforscooters.comThey had the transmission shaft along with a host of parts for the CN-250 engine ready for delivery. Mine came in less than two days from order to delivery. The price of the shaft was less than half that of a Honda Helix 250 shaft.

it's been a little over 2 months since i rode my hog because of break down, that's the longest time it has been down. i took it for an 11 mile ride and i must say it really still does it to me. a little more clutch adjustment, a wash job and then put the bags and tour pack on it. i'll park it in the corner and leave it sit for the winter which will be at least 4 months.

I can relate. I love the 250 but I'm scanning Craigslist for some kind of a bargain motorcycle. I need a little more power in my garage and there's nothing more satisfying than the control you feel using a clutch and gearbox. Something around 500cc would be nice.
