Can you just open the carb up and look at the jet?

I at first almost had a heart attack at the idea of pulling the carp, now i have done it many times cleaning the port turn to the flaot needle i mentioned before.
you can do it buddy, I am running a carb with 16,000 miles on it and it works like the day i got it.
just pull and work on the carb in a real clean space, and slow down while you do it and keep a screw bowl to keep things orderly.

let me apologize for making my earlier post so veg. as i go back and read i see i left out the fact that i did take the carb apart, and cleaned the jets. and all the jets are in good shape i cleaned all the carb out even removed the enriching choke. and cleaned all the ports good and i have grate vacuum with no leaks at the intake. i get fuel to the float bowl, but the diaphram Needle don't move up when i give it gas. its not allowing gas in to the jet as far as i can see after having the carb apart so many times, i figured i would have seen something by now. but no gas in the jet no gas in the cylinder head, but for the life of me i can't find out why the needle don't move because of having good vacuum all over the bike and no leaks.

And no hole in the diaphragm I guess.
Sounds like a new carb is a reasonable thing to try.

so you are able to drain fuel out of the carb bowl and the plug is still dry
just becuase you see the pump pumping doesnt mean the fuel is actauly getting into the carb i have seen a couple of floats stuck closed over the years

no there's no hole in the diaphragm its in grate shape and yes i can put the carb on the bike and the vacuum form the intake is making the fuel pump fill the carb bowl but the spark plug is dry then i pull of the carb drain and clean the carb re install turn the motor with the kick start and the fuel pump fills the bowl and the spark plug is dry as a bone but the carb bowl is full of gas float moves nice and easy needle valve is right jets are clean i need to find info on how these carb's work so i can find out what mine is not doing
