I saw a webpage that has a scooter to trike conversion kit made specifically for the 150cc gy6 scooters but can work on a 250, price is about $1000.00 www.tcscooters.com/trikes.htm#Kit

it certainly saves a buck or two to convert a scooter you have instead of buying a new one.

That's what I'm gonna get when I can't ride on two wheels safely anymore. The fella that sells them over around the Datona area was talking to me a couple yrs. ago about me being the guy on the west coast of FL. that might want to install and deal with them. After he heard I fabbed up a 250 Ninja trike with no kit to work with I might add. I like his kit because it is supposedly a real differential like a good rear wheel drive car rear end. It is a must for a trike with anything more than a 50 cc engine. One wheel drive rear trike axles pull to the opposite side of the drive wheel every time you accelerate even semi hard, Two wheel drive or the equivalent of a locked rearend will what they call "push" in racing. (Want to go straight ahead when you are turning one way or the other), very unsettling I might add.
