A 250 might not be that much more trouble to install. It would cost a bit more money though and where would you put the radiator.

I see but do you thank a 250 would be dangerous on a bike that size i thought a 150 was pushing it but dang if i can go that big well its something to thank about

I've heard some people list a concern about the lack of braking power on a 50cc when it is upgraded to a radically bigger motor.
I'm not positive the physics are being pushed to the limit, but you could go with a 12 or 13 inch front wheel with the disk and caliper to match.

yes that's my concern as well the brakes are a big part of me leaving the ruckus motor in plus i like is reliability of the Honda. but the speed of the gy6 is hard to beat

Personally I wonder if the brakes are that big of an issue, the weight they are stopping is not much different. Have you seen any tests done on a before and after scooter?

well i know a guy that put a 150 on a 50 and used drum brakes on the rear. so now he has to stop much sooner than before i thank it has to do with higher speeds the 50cc 35-40 mph to the 150cc 55-60 mph. maybe faster depending on how your setup is but also maybe the rolling mass of the scooter comes in to play. you know my first question a lot of times is how fast will it stop most guys don't like that around here but i get a good laff out of it i guess if you thank of it as a old 50s Chevy the drums on them car where kinda the same spongie and weak

You can get a 150 with a rear disk brake. Now regarding the guy with the 150 in a 50 frame. Compare his stopping distance to the normal 150 stopping distance and that would be a good comparison.

Hey, it doesn't look BAD... It looks BAAAAAD! As in "Mad Max" baaaad... Cool!
I don't know about the bigger engine being a bad idea. Around here, there's a fellow riding a hand-built scooter with a turbo-charged Acura V-6 motor... Something around 600 ponies... Bet THAT one will test your deodorant! And bounce your eyeballs off the back of your skull...
Ride safe, if not fast!
